Evergy Electric Rates. Evergy is not providing accurate information to Linn Valley property owners with camping and multipurpose lots. The City does not provide zoning letters or occupancy permits.

The process to ensure an accurate Evergy rate is as follows:

1. Review and understand the Evergy tariff rates. See link below.

https://www.evergy.com/-/media/documents/billing/kansas-metro/detailed-tariffs/residential-other-use.pdf?la=en

2. Call Evergy at 888-471-5275 and ask for a Supervisor and request they read the Residential Other Use (ROU) tariff. If they won’t comply with their published tariff, let them know a complaint with the Kansas Corporation Commission will be filed.

3. Contact the Kansas Corporation Commission on-line or at (800) 662-0027 with a complaint against Evergy for inaccurate electric rate.
